The seven regions and their respective populations are:
North America — 618 million
South America — 440 million
Europe (including Russia) — 740 million
Middle East — 315 million
Africa — 1.56 billion
Central & South Asia (including India and Pakistan) — 2.17 billion
East Asia & Oceania (including China, Indonesia, Japan and Australia) — 2.40 billion
